This isn\u2019t a review, just a short note to mention that I\u2019ve swapped the \u201c1944 Retro Hugos\u201d page that was in the menu above for a \u201c1945 Retro Hugos\u201d one. This page has a sortable table of stories that are eligible for next year\u2019s (2020) Retro Hugo awards. More importantly, it has links to copies of the stories on the Internet Archive if you want to read them.<\/p>\n

1944 (the qualifying year for the 1945 Retro Hugos) features, among other works, Olaf Stapledon\u2019s Sirius<\/em>, Theodore Sturgeon\u2019s Killdozer<\/em>, C. L. Moore\u2019s No Woman Born<\/em>, Fredric Brown\u2019s Arena<\/em>, a couple of \u2018Foundation\u2019 tales from Isaac Asimov, four of Clifford D. Simak\u2019s \u2018City\u2019 series (including Huddling Place <\/i>and Desertion<\/i>) and many, many stories from Ray Bradbury. Add your favourites in the comments below (as well as anything I haven\u2019t listed*).<\/p>\n
